For all fantasy fans, we have a few special announcements for September. We will be on a reading tour with the fantasy author Markus Heitz ("Die Zwerge"/"The Dwarves", "Ulldart-Zyklus", "Die Mächchte des Feuers") in a few cities. The readings will be complimented by the special Qntal-Sound, giving it a mystical atmosphere where you can absorb yourself in the "Legend of the Albae". For the first time, you will also be able to hear a few new compositions. This tour will feature a smaller line up. We are looking forward to this small tour with Markus and hope to see you all there!

The QNTAL concert at Comma in Gera will be rescheduled to November 2011 for organisational reasons.
The exact Fall-date will be announced in time.

Mera Luna, Fr. 6th, cancelled
Dear friends and fans of Qntal,
Unfortunately we had to cancel our concert at M'era Luna. The reason is a torn ligament with a bone split that Michael received last weekend at the Castle party in Bolkow...after which he had to flee from a pack of hungry wolves. ;-) (We saw the wolves next to the the hospital where Michael got his cast...luckily we were sitting in the car). Nevertheless, we wish you a wonderful time at the festival and hope to see you at our next concert.

Those who attended the Beltaine Mystic Night in Solingen may have noticed another woman on the stage next to Syrah . Now it is official. From this year, the Qntal-Live Crew will be joined by a new, although not unknown, member. The violinist Mariko (Unto Ashes, VocaMe, Estampie, et al.) will, in the future, enhance Qntal's lineup of instruments with her violin and compliment Syrah's singing with her backup vocals. The next show with Mariko will be the 26th of June in Regensburg at the RGT (Regensburger Gothic Treffen).
